In order to stay and succeed in the battle, we need capacity and ability. Our qualification comes from Christ, and it is the Holy Spirit who empowers us and makes us able to continue in the calling Christ has given us.

MONDAY

Getting Back in the Game
Our content manager has just returned from serving overseas in East Asia with her husband on a short-tem missions trip. She returns to the office this week but will soon be away again for a family wedding. Please pray that her somewhat hectic transition back would be surprisingly smooth and that she would be excited and energized to get back into the swing of things.

My husband and I are in the middle of taking a financial planning university course and are working on becoming debt free. There are decisions related to my job and others that we need discernment and wisdom for. It has been tense in our home and we really need to lean on God rather than rely on ourselves. My son-in-law was downsized and lost his job. He is looking for another and needs wisdom so he will that he choose the best position for him and his family. He has only a few months to find another job so he is praying that a position would open up for him. (www.retirementwithapurpose.com)

TUESDAY

One In – One Out
This is our old Editorial Administrator’s last week before she heads off on maternity leave, as well as our third week with her new replacement. Please pray for the health of mom and baby, as well as the family’s general preparedness for the new addition. Pray also that our new Editorial Administrator would continue to feel welcome, and would begin to be at ease in her new role.

I was in an extremely bad motorcycle accident. I have been on pain meds since even though I have tried to stop several times in the past six years. I have a 6 year old daughter that keeps me from killing myself because without me she will not be ok. I’ve gone to rehabs but was kicked out for aggressive behaviour. (www.womentodaymagazine.com)

Transition, Transition, Transition
As we continue to move into The Mentor Center, please pray that our Mentoring Co-ordinator would be granted extra portions of patience and perseverance. There is a lot of sorting to be done as communities are built and mentors are re-assigned. Please pray for wisdom and God’s hand of blessing in making the process as smooth as possible.

Another New Addition
Please pray for our Technical Manager as he and his wife welcomed a new baby into their family this week. Pray for strength, family unity and a feeling of peace as this time can seem chaotic and hectic even though it is joyful.
