SendFeed v. 1.3
After some fairly major overhauls, improvements and bug fixes, we’re happy to announce the release of SendFeed v. 1.3. Features and bug fixes included in this release are as follows:
- Log table clipping
SendFeed keeps a log of all recent activity in the database, which we hope in the future to provide a front-end for. However, until this release, this log would have just continued to grow until all available space was used up. The log is now limited to actions over the past 30 days. - Basic templates for new feeds
Now, when you create a new feed, it will come preinstalled with a basic HTML and TEXT version template. You can further tailor these templates to meet your needs. - Admin interface cleaning
The admin interface has been cleaned up a bit to be more straightforward and not include our development instructions/requirements. - Newsletter preview
You can now preview what the different versions of the newsletter will look like with live data, once the feed has been created. - Allow pulling of author field
We have added an additional field to the newsletter controls to allow you to display the author name. This information is pulled from the dc:creator field in the RSS feed. - Code streamlining
We have refactored some aspects of the code to function in a more modular way and hopefully faster.
You may download this version from WordPress.org.
We hope you enjoy these improvements. We would love to hear your comments or thoughts in the comments area below.

You don’t support non-English characters on the email text, and I get an error: WARNING: Message failed to send! whenever I test it. I’m using WP-Mail-SMTP plugin because my hosting blocks the mail() function. Everything else on the website works ok with it… I’m not sure if you are supporting that, but you should.
