Ok. We have now officially released FormBuilder 0.80. If you downloaded the pre-release version, you will probably want to download this full-release and overwrite your existing FB files with these new ones. There are a few bug fixes that were made, along with some better documentation. I will be closing the comments on this thread.

Ok. The blacklist moderation problem should now be fixed. If you had previously downloaded v. 0.80, you will want to re-download it and replace your current FB files with the new ones.

To those who have been attempting to use FormBuilder on Windows based hosting solutions, we think we may have fixed some of the problems you would have been experiencing with the FormBuilder system. We are preparing to release v. 0.80 and the latest code for this version can already be found in the "Other Versions" of FormBuilder:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/formbuilder/download/

If you feel like the adventurous sort and are currently hosted on a Windows based server, we would love to hear your feedback on this new FB version.

WARNING: Be sure to back up your WordPress MySQL database before installing this plugin as it has not been thoroughly tested yet.

Hi Kari,

I'm not sure if I can do anything to help with the CSS on your site but I can point you in some good directions...

I normally use the FireBug plugin in Firefox for CSS tweaking. I highly recommend it. It should help you isolate the problem on your site, and change the Theme CSS if necessary.

You can also create a copy of the additional_styles.sample.css file as described in that file, and put your stylesheet changes in there.

Hope this helps,
James W.

I installed form builder on my site and it was perfect, but then I realized it was messing up a jQuery slider on my home page, so I had to deactivate it. Is there anything I can do to the plugin to make it work with existing jQuery? I really want to use your plugin, but it doesn't work with my theme right now. Thanks so much for your help!

Maybe I am missing something, but is it possible to have a multiple select list instead of a dropdown select list? If not, this would be a valuable addition.

@Kimberly: Sounds like a problem with your PHP mail configuration. You might want to ask your website server admin or hosting company about it.

@Victoria: The only way to do this at this point would be to configure the form with a field named "visitor_email". You will also have to turn off the requirement for an email address (ie don't use the Email Address required field)

@Kimberly & Victoria: I am currently in the process of working on FormBuilder 0.80 which should allow an alternate email processing solution. This may help to fix both of your problems. Keep an eye on this blog and I'll work on getting that version out soon.

@Stefan: Thanks for your support. Yes, these are both features I'm working on for future releases.

Have a great day,
James W.

Hi,

yes, indeed, this is a great plugin. I love it because it's so comfortable. For future releases I hope for two things:
1. File Upload possibility (and/or send to form recipient as mail attachment)
2. possibility to include provided form values into autoresponse. Let's say I have a form with two Single Line Text Boxes for first and last name. I have given the field names FistName and LastName to these boxes. In the autoresponse I would like to access this in a way like this:

Dear [fieldname=FirstName] [fieldname=LastName],
thanks for your message ...

Howeverm the most important think for me are file attachments :-)

Thanks,
Stefan
