I love the LORD, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned his ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live. Psalm 116:1,2 NLT

Urgent Need to Prayer and Action
The Mentor Center facilitates connections between hundreds of mentors and thousands of people looking for a listening ear and someone to speak into their lives. Our goal is to see enough mentors take on the role of Community Leader that we would have one Community Leader for every 10-15 mentors so that each mentor can be connected with personally, prayed for faithfully and discipled as they serve.
We are praying that some of you who mentor with us will take a step of faith and become Community Leaders, inspiring your mentors to reach out to the lost. If you’re ready to expand your ministry, learn about being a Community Leader. Then email us through The Mentor Center to get started. If you’d like to become a mentor and see how God can use you from your own home, apply to become a mentor in The Mentor Center.
Please pray that God would touch the hearts of the mentors who can expand their impact as Community Leaders and that they would rise to the challenge to care for fellow mentors as we do ministry together.

Hi there Mohamed.. Nice of you to join truth media.. this is an awesome platform where people can assist and be assisted both in prayer and Spiritual council..
we all face uncertainty when we join the christian faith.. and for this reason.. we will not be totally at peace with our family and friends..
its for this reason that those in the faith need to hold one another in prayer as members of the family of God..
knowing that his children would face turmoil in their new found faith.. Jesus invested heavily in praying for the protection of his little once.. that those the Father has blessed him with.. will not come to harm..
its is comforting.. Mohamed.. that we have a Father who watches over his little once.. Scripture says that we have a high priest who can sympathize with us..
The book of Isaiah 53 talks about the Suffering and the Glory of the Servant (Jesus the High Priest)
Isaiah begins by asking us if we can tell who this servant is and if we can identify that he is the Revealed Arm of the Lord…
then we are told that he grew up just like any other little one.. Isaiah calls his, “A tender shoot, a root that grew out of a dry ground”
later we see why this tender shoot had to grow out of a dry ground..
in Genesis 3:17-19.. God curses a once abundant soil that was well watered from the ground.. and now it is dry and desolate..
Man’s sin caused the ground to be cursed and Scripture reveals that this servant became a curse for us..
vs 17, “Cursed be the ground because of you {Adam} thru painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life” .. for this reason.. this servant became a man accustomed to many sorrows..
vs 18, “It {the ground} will produce thorns and thistles for you”
vs 19, “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food, until you return to the dust you came from”
Back @ Isaiah 53.. we find the connection between Genesis 3:17-19, and this book of Isaiah..
vs 2 of Isa 53 says that.. this servant had no beauty or majesty by which he could attract us to him..
the man made a curse and accustomed to many sorrows.. had to eat the food that was prepared for him.. which was to reconcile us back to the Father, through hard sear hard work..
he more than had sweat on his brow.. he also
bleed from wearing a crown of thorn an thistles.. given to him by the Romans as a mock symbol of his Lordship..
and to adorn him with this crown.. they fixed it by beating it in with sticks.. so that the thorns made him bleed from the brow..
Isaiah tells us then why he had no majesty.. Scripture tells us that this servant emptied himself of all Glory.. took on the the likeness of sinful man and paid the ultimate price.. death on the cross.. just as the first Adam was destined to end up after a lifetime of pain and toil..
therefore.. we had nothing that would attract us to him.. no Majesty.. no Beauty.. no cause for us to desire him..
that is why before the Transfiguration.. [Matt 17:1-13].. the revelation of his Glory and Beauty.. this servant predicted his own death..
In the book of Matt 16:21.. this servant tells his disciples this..
still first we must now answer the QN Isaiah began with.. Who is this servant..
this is the same Qn Jesus asked in Matt 16:13-
[Peter's Confession of Christ]..
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets”… why so??
this servant had been stripped of his Glory and Beauty that even after his Transfiguration [the revealed Arm of God.. Jesus was]still men just called him a prophet [Deut. 18:14-22]
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say i am?”.. same Qn Isaiah asks in Isa 53:1
“Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”.. Check out Matt 12:15-21 [God's Chosen Servant]
16 Simon Peter answers, “You are the Christ {Messiah/ God’s Chosen Servant} the Son of the Living God”
[Now follow the prediction of the birth of Jesus to Mary by the angel Gabriel in Matt 1:18-25]
17 Jesus replies, “Blessed are you, Simon bar Jonah/ Son of Jonah”.. Follow the sign of Jonah in Matt 12:38-45..
Jesus continues blessing Simon..
“Blessed are you, Simon bar Jonah/ Son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven”
18 And i tell you Peter {Rock}and on this rock i will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it..
now that we know who the servant Isaiah was pointing us to.. now we conclude by sharing in his suffering..
1: Matt 15:21
From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day he will be raised to life..
2: Matt 26:26-29 [The Lord's Supper]
26 Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body”
27 Then he took the cup, gave thanks offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it all of you.”
28 “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins”
29 “I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on {reason he refused to drink the sour drink the Romans were giving him @ the cross to quench his thirst}.. until i drink it anew [Parable of the New Wine and the New Wine Skin].. with you in my Father’s kingdom”
3: The whole book of Isa 53
4: Jer 33:2-3, 6-9 [Promise of Restoration]
2 “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it – the Lord is his name”
3 “call to me and i will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know”
6 “I will bring health and healing, I will heal my people and let them enjoy abundant peace and security”
7 “i will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity {I will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel}.. and rebuild them as they were before”
8 “i will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all the sins of rebellion against me”
9 “Then this city will bring me joy, praise and honour before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things i do for it: and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace i provide for it”
5 Finally.. Mo.. my last word to you brother.. comes from the book of 1 Pet. 4:12-19 [Suffering for Being a Christian]..
12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you suffer, as though something strange were happening to you.
13 But rejoice that you participate in the suffering of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
15 If you suffer , it should not be as a murderer or thief or any kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.
17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
18 And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner”..
Pro 11:31 “If the righteous receive their dues on earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner”
19 So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.. do not be weary of doing good… for in due time.. you will reap
Amen..
