TruthMedia Chat News (Sept 30- Oct 4)
We are currently in the process of moving all our websites onto our corporate site, Power to Change. Although things may look different, including the chatroom template, all of your favorites will still be here along with a bunch of new features we’re excited to share with you.
Now all of our audiences will have access to blogs, comments and videos along with more frequent updates, bigger images and a wider range of content. To explore the large selection of content, click on “more sites” in the navigation bar and select your group. The options will differ depending on whether you are located on the “Discover” or “Experience” tab located at the top of the page.
If you have any questions or need help finding an old favorite, please let us know by filling out the chat feedback form. We hope you’ll enjoy the new site!
Welcome! We hope that you continue to find these helpful in planning which moderated chats you wish to attend each week and that the chats are an encouragement to you. Come and join us in Christian Women Today chat and The Life chat. All times are Eastern.
Can we pray for you? If you have a prayer request, please email us and we will pray for you. Requests sent to us will not be posted on the website. All requests will be mailed out to our prayer team, and a prayer mentor may respond to you.
If you need a listening ear our email mentors are here to help. Let us walk this path together. Just fill in the form and one of our email mentors will respond.
Do you ever feel like you are talking to yourself when you pray? And yet there is a God who hears each of his children when they speak to him. Join us on Sunday as we explore the topic, “Does Prayer Really Work?” Have a look at the related articles or fill out a life lesson.

Summer is such a fun time to drive through the countryside as we see crops maturing in the field. Even stepping into a roadside stand filled with freshly picked produce can flood our senses with the sights and smells of a ripe harvest. And who can forget a day spent in a “pick your own” field or orchard with friends or family? In our daily lives we also prepare a harvest of attitudes, actions and habits. Join us tonight as we reflect on harvest time in our lives.

Portraits of the Christ (Introduction) (Room: TheLife)
October 1 9:30 pm
My photographer friends enjoy doing photo shoots for high school seniors. One meets the senior at an attractive area in town, and captures the student in several different poses. Perhaps one portrait is of the student relaxing against a tree, and another relates to a favorite hobby. There may be a pensive shot with the student overlooking the bridge railing into the river, and another captures a far-away gaze into the clouds. Parents have difficulty in choosing a favorite because each portrays a different facet of their child’s life and personality.
Although the camera had not yet been invented, the Bible gives us a number of word pictures to portray Jesus, the Christ. Each captures a different facet of His character, His life and His mission. Join us as we focus our gaze on these portraits and attend to what God teaches us about Himself and our relationship to Him.
