But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many Romans 5:15 ESV

Involving Your Friends in Christmas
from a blog post by Darren Hewer
Christmas is one of the few times when it’s okay to talk about Jesus in secular, politically correct society. At least, it’s seen as being less offensive than the rest of the year. But how can Christians involve non-Christians in their Christmas celebrations without being dismissed as “preachy” but still being faithful to the truth and the imperative to preach the truth in love?
Perhaps the Apostle John has some advice for us:“Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” (1 John 3:18) This does not mean that we do not preach the gospel; certainly we must. But perhaps a person will be more open to hearing our words if we express God’s love to them first… Read the rest of the post.

MONDAY
Pray for financial giving to TruthMedia
Christmas is a good time to reflect on how much we have been given and what we can do to bless others with what we have. Please pray for us as we put together opportunities for people to give to the work of TruthMedia this Christmas. There is one opportunity on our organization’s site but we will be connecting in different ways with potential supporters in the coming weeks and would appreciate your prayers for a good response. We rely on the support of others to do ministry and we are excited to see how God will provide this Christmas!
Online Request: Teen & Youth Concern
“S” is struggling to figure out how to overcome an abusive past and to find out if antidepressants are what she really needs. She is struggling to find God in all of this and is not sure if she even believes He is there some days.(dmlive.com)
TUESDAY
Pray for the impact of TruthMedia’s evangelistic Christmas content
We know that Christmas is a unique time of year, in that non-Christians are more open to talking about Jesus because of His connection to this holiday many enjoy. This is a window of opportunity for us to publish and feature articles, blog posts and videos that talk openly about who Jesus is and why Christmas is more than just food family and time off work. Please pray for us as we put Christmas articles and posts on our evangelistic site (we call it Discover because it’s where people can discover who Jesus is) and ask God to grant us wisdom in our choice of content. Pray that He would soften hearts and draw many people to Himself during the holidays and that we would be faithful in sharing the Gospel with those who are ready to hear it.
Online Request: Health & Safety Concern
I need healing, literally from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Please pray for me. (powertochange.com/)
WEDNESDAY
Pray for the families of our TruthMedia team
Christmas is a time to be with family and friends and to enjoy the company of the ones we love. Please join us in praying for family members who will be traveling this holiday season, as well as those who are unable to do so. Ask the Lord for protection from illness and harm during their travels and that those TruthMedia team members who will be with non-Christian relatives will have an opportunity to engage in faith conversations this Christmas. For more ideas on how to use Christmas as a time of evangelism, read some of our Christmas content for Christians.
Online Request: Family & Financial Concern
I am a Christian widow with two teenage daughters and I am struggling. My problem is, the closer I seem to get to God, the harder my home life becomes. My girls go to church but I am not sure if they are saved. I lost my husband 4 years ago; he was the perfect partner and father and I know that I am still struggling with this loss. Sometimes the atmosphere in my home is so horrid. Pray for my family. (powertochange.com/experience)
THURSDAY
Pray for TruthMedia’s Carols of Christmas chats
During the Christmas season we host a series of chats called the Carols of Christmas, beginning with O Come O Come Emmanuel on December 3rd at 9:30pm EST. Please pray that this year many new people would be drawn into the chats and engaged on the topic. Pray for deep spiritual growth and an openness to the Gospel for those who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you or someone you know is interested in attended the Advent chats, or other chats that take place at various times throughout each day, please see our chat calendar at the bottom of this page.
Online Request: Marriage & Relationship Concern
Four and a half weeks ago I found out my husband had an emotional and sexual affair while working as a contractor overseas. He and I are both Christians and he has genuinely repented. I have forgiven him but am in no way okay. I need prayer for a crushed heart, a wounded soul, loss of trust and so much more. (powertochange.com/)
FRIDAY
Pray for TruthMedia’s staffing during the holidays
As many people need to take time away to be with family, it is always a balance to allow everyone to have a rest from work while still ensuring our resources, mentoring and chats are available for those who need them – even on Christmas Day. This time of year always brings people to our sites that are depressed, alone and without hope, and it is critical that we meet them in their moment of need to provide the hope of Jesus. Please pray that we would be able to balance the holiday schedules of our team, the needs of the people we reach and that God would draw our attention to those who is reaching out for hope at Christmas.
