A Soul Cravings Story

Story by Wes…
The Director of TruthMedia’s website “MilitaryLives.com” had given a French version of the book, “Soul Cravings” to the Chaplain General of the Canadian Forces and talked to him about distributing copies of the book among French-speaking military personnel in Quebec.  The Chaplain General assigned one of the chaplains on his staff to evaluate the book and make a recommendation as to its use.

The chaplain given this task read through the book and then later had the opportunity to counsel a young military lady. The young lady shared that she was going to the Yukon to visit a friend and say good-bye and then she would end her own life.  The chaplain drew upon his memory of the things he had read in the book and shared them with the young lady as he discussed her issues. As the session was concluding, he said he only had one copy of the book and he wanted to keep it. However, he offered to lend it to her if she would read it and bring it back. Her heart had been touched! On the basis of what the chaplain had shared from the book, she agreed that she would read it and upon her return from the Yukon, she would give it back to him.  The Lord had divinely intervened!  The young lady had changed her plans and would return to discuss the book rather than taking her life. Praise the Lord!

Have a wonderful week!
Terri
