What is Online Teen Mentoring?

Teens are at the cusp of adulthood but the majority of their influence comes from peers. As a teen mentor, you have the ability to become one of those peers and walk alongside of them.
Teens send us questions every single day. Teen mentoring provides an awesome opportunity for followers of Jesus to come alongside teens who want to discuss the issues that really matter to them. Each mentor can share God’s love in a relevant way and connect the teens to other resources wherever possible.

Teen Mentoring
Praise the Lord with us for the Teen Mentor applications that we received last week. Please pray for these new mentors that they would be motivated to quickly completely their online training and get their Criminal Record checks in to us so that we can activate them in the Teen Community. Also pray that more and more people will be willing to serve as Teen Mentors.

Dealing with loneliness and family issues. My mom is not happy and dealing with depression. Looking for a father figure and for love. going back to bad relationship and angry with god.
I feel empty and sometimes I wonder if the only person that listens to me is the dog… I want so bad to have back the two people that I miss so much… my great grandmas… I feel so helpless against death and sorrow…. like I could lose someone else that I love at any second and that scares me…..

Online Request: Health and Safety
My nephew Justin is 11 years old and has ITP and has severe symptoms. His mom and dad are divorced. His mom places all her trust in Doctors. He has been treated for a few years now and seems to only get worse. Maybe all the side effects to the drugs, we’re thinking?? They are talking bone marrow transplant now. We are wondering if you could pray for him and his mom. That if there is a better direction for healing that she would be open minded to it. Your prayers for Justin are appreciated.
I would love to make a prayer for Sam Reid, I hope after all he has been through, all the heartache that has been caused, he can begin a happy life with his new start in September.

As a new school year approaches we are once again asking you to pray for Bible College Students who will join us this year for their online ministry, that they would be mature students who are able to fully engage in both our chat ministry and online mentoring.

Please pray for us. It has been two bad weeks financially since we moved to a new place. My husband’s paycheck was sent by mail instead of direct deposit and we still haven’t received it. We need a lot of prayer because we are struggling financially. Please pray for us. Thank you

I need to know how to regain God’s trust after telling a lie. I feel so guilty and do not know how to get out of this depression moment that I am in..I know that this too shall pass but I can’t shake this feeling of depression. I have no job and a family it is so hard for me at this present time. I do attend church on a wkly basis and bible study but I can seem to shake this depression spirit.
Please pray for me to find a church home I have been searching for a long time I just moved to this community 3 yrs ago I have been church hopping and not getting grounded my husband and I do not see eye to eye in selecting a church for years I went to the church he selected for our family and I was dead spiritually I CANNOT do that anymore I need to be fulfilled spiritually. Please pray that we find a church we are in agreement with my life is not complete when I am not a part of a church home my children also need to b grounded and not b bouncing around we need Christ more than ever.
