The day was warm and the breeze was gentle. She stood there quietly, holding the ends of several ribbons and watching as the bright balloons drifted back and forth. She thought back, reflecting on other days, other balloons, and then one by one released each balloon to drift slowly out of sight.
Sometimes we reach time and place in which we are called to let go of something to which we’ve been clinging. Many times there is a choice to face, whether to continue holding onto that ribbon or to release our grip. We invite you to join us as we discuss tonight’s topic, “Embracing Surrender.”
