Doris was monitoring over the holidays and noted chatters ministering to a new Christian.  Here’s what the new Christian said: 

"you people are amazing when i say you people i mean Christians you take the time out to listen to some one  vent and give no more advice than pray and follow the answer (exactly what i needed to hear)  and have so much going on in your own lives thank you because i haven’t met a CHRISTIAN in so long it gives me hope and a heart full of prayer for you all"

This came in from the Moderator of the Military Lives Prayer Time in the Life this evening.

A great time of prayer. After the chat, Chatter Scotty87, age 20, came in looking for guidance to get right with God. He had been in the gay lifestyle for 4 yrs and recognized that it was wrong. He had prayed to invite Christ into his life some time previous but knew he was being disobedient and wanted to leave the lifestyle and recommit.  After some discussion, and question and answers, he prayed with me in the prayer of rededication and filling with the Holy Spirit. Later I gave him the URL for interactive studies and told him how to send in a chat feedback and get a mentor. I invited him to pray thanking God for what he had just done and he prayed while we all supported him and joined him in prayer.

This came in from one of our hostesses.  It was encouraging to see that ministry has been happening in the chat room over the holidays, even though there have been a number of disruptions.  Praise and thanks be to God for the work He is doing!

This chat feedback came in from Wes after the chat in the Life this evening.  Praise God for this new life in Him.

Chatter "bubble" (15 yrs F in foster care) had remarks, questions, indicating unsaved. I walked thru her questions and moved conversation into presentation of the way of salvation and she prayed with me!  Answered more questions later and gave her steps of growth, incl the link to the interactive studies. PTL!

Chatter Andre, came in during open chat. He wanted to learn how to grow closer to God.  I explored with questions. He seemed to have a knowledge of salvation but couldnt remember any verses that explained how to become a child of God etc. We covered 4sl to be sure he wasnt missing anything. Confirmed he had prayed a prayer of salvation but had later backslidden. Shared the  Spirit-filled life and he followed me in the prayer. PTL!

When I came into the room 5 minutes before the chat, only 3 people were here.  I was a bit surprised.  But then all of the ladies started to pop in from the CWT room.  I’m glad our initiatives to get them to use the women’s room are starting to pay off!  I felt the discussion went really well.  There was good participation from all of the chatters- yeah, I was really glad with the response tonight!

After the chat, a seeker named “Meaghan” came into the room.  She used to go to church about 6-7 years ago, and wanted to get back into going to church. She went to a catholic church and asked about if there was anything extra she needed to do to go back to catholic church, besides just going to mass.  I took that opportunity to share  about having a personal relationship with God. We talked through the 4 spiritual laws and Meaghan accepted Christ!  It was very exciting   Thank you Wes for the “cheat-sheet”, I used it to explain the gospel and lead Meaghan in prayer.

SUGGESTION: Just want to take a moment to give thanks to our Lord and this ministry.

Tonights chat on the love of God was excellent! I went into the chat not feeling well i had been very sick most the day, even had to be taken home from my CR group because i was to sick to stay today. Howerver, giving all glory to God as I sat in on the chat on Gods love I felt a peace come and as the chat progressed so did the peace. I sit here now breathing a deep sigh of contentment and peace and do not feel sick at all. Going to go to bed early(now 8:45)and hope to get a nice restful sleep. May the Love of our Lord Jesus warm your hearts as you read this, you are so very love by Him and me.

This came in from one of our leaders on the Wednesday night chat in CWT, regarding the abortion chat series.

SUGGESTION: Chat number 4 of the abortion series…might go down in the history books as the longest moderated chat..right at two hours. It was certainly in God\’s timing tonight. I believe I counte 8 or 9 ladies there who shared they had experienced an abortion. Total number of attending about 16 with five chat hostesses attending. It was a very challenging time with lots of deep sharing. Carrie talked alot about forgiveness and giving control to God. At the end there was a memorial service to release those lost to God both through abortion and miscariage. It was a very deeply emotional night. I truly believe that there are several ladies well on their way to healing and moving past this event in their life. I hope that somehow we could acknowledge Carrie for all her time and effort as she continues to e-mail and communicate with these ladies.

We thought this was very encouraging. Praise God for this new life in Him! A chatter named Virginia was visiting her Aunt Nancy and had come into the chat room. The moderators shared the Gospel with Virginia and she did pray to trust Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Here is the feedback from Virginia:
