Well some of you heard about Nancy’s visit to Edmonton where she was able to meet both Laurie and Karin! Boy did I ever wish I could be there too! Karin and I actually go a very long way back, her cousin was my best friend as a teenager! But guess what? We reconnected thru the cwt chat room! It really is a very small world and we are so glad that you are a part of the team Karin! We are praying for you this summer as you take a sabbatical from chat, that God will restore and refresh you! We miss you!(see you in September)

Marianne tells me this isn’t her best picture, but I still think that a picture is worth a thousand words. So here is a face to wonderful Marianne, our Alabama gal and newest chat team member! Marianne loves leading our Online Studies and has done both Conversation Peace and Vertically Inclined. We are glad to have you on the team Marianne!

You have all seen pictures of me, but I thought it was high time that I introduced my better half! Dave and I have been married for 31 years, served with Campus Crusade for Christ for our entire married life and are now empty nesters! The best is yet to come I say! Our first grandchild is expected within the next month and we can hardly wait!

This is our fearless Liz! Along with her husband David and granddaughter. One of my first memories of Liz is hearing about how she shared Christ with a troubled chatter who then committed her life to the Lord! She has been such an encouragement to me over these years of serving together on the chat team for the christianwomentoday chat room. We are so glad you are part of our team Liz!

 As we get to know one another better, there’s a question that comes to my mind. I’m sure it is influenced by the fact that I’m “waiting” a bit more this week; when we’re taken out of our normal routine we sometimes become aware of the challenge we face while waiting.

 My question is:
What lessons have you learned during waiting times, that made the waiting worthwhile? What value or treasure do you have today, that you’d not have if you’d been able to set the timetable? (This could be related to work, health issues, a decision, ministry, family or some other area.)

Well here is another face to our team! Darlene! I have still to meet Darlene in person, but I can hardly wait to meet this wise woman who loves our chatters and loves to share the Good News of the Gospel with each one! What a privilege to serve on the same team with you Darlene!

 Since this is for the “Getting to Know You” section, I thought I’d just toss out a general question about summer. What do you enjoy about summer? Do you have a favorite summer memory? (If you have some special plans for this summer, feel free to share those as well!)

Well I am excited to say that I have had my ‘picture’ lesson and have managed to enlarge the picture of Carla and her husband(see below to actually finally be able to see more than a teeny weeny picture), as well as this one of Laurie!
